Who is a candidate for Teeth Whitening?

Most patients who want to professionally whiten their teeth can easily sit to have the work done. In order for whitening to work effectively, it needs to be done on natural teeth. Even the very best whitening will not work on restorations like veneers, crowns or fillings. Your teeth should be otherwise healthy before undergoing whitening.

What happens during the Teeth Whitening process?

The teeth whitening process is done easily and quickly in our office. For in-office whitening, we apply a whitening gel to your teeth and use a bright light to accelerate all results. After about an hour, your teeth will be multiple shades brighter and whiter than when you came into the office. Our take-home whitening involves making whitening trays for you from impressions. We then supply you with whitening gel that is used in conjunction with the new trays. You’ll be instructed on how often to wear these trays at home.
